Rules & Regulations

Dear Members:

Welcome to 4Asianzs Message Board!

Until now, there were some unwritten rules and regulations that were applicable to all members to ensure good conduct within the forums. I've decided to make them official so that everyone knows them, helping to reduce any misunderstandings or mishaps in the future...!

The rules are as follows:
RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Refrain from using abusive behaviour against other members.

2. No personal attacks against other members.

3. No racist remarks against other members.

4. Stay within the forum category, when replying to topics.

5. No post/topics should include any religious hatred.

6. Advertising in any form will NOT be tolerated.

7. No Spamming.

ACTION AGAINST VIOLATORS

If any member fails to follow the above rules he/she would be subject to following actions either a:

1. Warning.

2. Banning for a certain time period (a week etc) or

3. A permanent ban (This would take place only when a member with the sole purpose to advertise another site).

All members who have been banned members have a right to appeal (to 4Asianz Staff), which would be considered independently. In extreme cases, a member may be immediately blocked without any warning!

NOTE: Warnings and reasoning will either be E-mailed or PM'd to you.

REPORTING VIOLATIONS

If you see any member violating any of the forum rules you can report them directly to any of the Moderators or Administrators.

CONTACTING THE MODERATING TEAM

If you need to contact a moderator or simply wish to view the complete administration team, click the link 'The moderating team' found at the bottom of the main board page (the first page you see when visiting the board), or from 'My Assistant'.

This list will show you administrators (those who have administration control panel access), global moderators (those who can moderate all forums) and moderators of the individual forums.

If you wish to contact someone regarding your member account, it is best to contact an administrator. If you wish to contact someone about a post or topic, contact either a global moderator or the forum moderator.

REPORTING A POST

If the administrator has enabled this function on the board, you'll see a 'Report' button in a post, next to the 'Quote' button. This function will let you report the post to the forum moderator (or the administrator(s), if there isn't a specific moderator available). You can use this function when you think the moderator(s) should be aware of the existence of that post. However, do not use this to chat with the moderator(s)! You can use the email function or the Personal Messenger function for that.

All the information sent to us will be kept confidential. If you feel there is a problem with any member, or if you've been offended by something, have suggestions or anything at all you want to talk about just let us know and I'll try my best to get your problem solved! It won't affect your everyday postings; it will just ensure me and you that we are all working together within rules and regulations!

Have fun posting

Ahsan
